From September 1 to October 31, 2025, Kito Crosby donated $500 to the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation for every Crosby, Harrington, Gunnebo Industries, and Peerless training event the company hosted in the United States through the Lifting for the Troops campaign. In addition, all proceeds from the Crosby User’s Guide for Lifting online training course went toward our goal. Together with our channel partners, industry partners, and friends and family, we surpassed our goal of $75,000 and raised a total of $82,000 this year, enough to cover the cost of three full scholarships.
This marked the seventh year of the campaign. Since 2019, we are honored to have raised a grand total of $350,000 for Fallen Patriots, enough to cover 14 full scholarships:
Fallen Patriots provides college scholarships and educational counseling to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty. Approximately 25,000 children have lost an active-duty parent in the military over the last 35 years. Of those, 96% of casualties are men, leaving behind single mothers to care for their families, and 60% report having trouble making ends meet.
The foundation reports $625 million is needed nationwide to cover the gap between government assistance and the actual cost of a degree. Since 2002, Fallen Patriots has provided more than $66 million in total assistance to more than 3,400 military children with more than 1,500 graduates.
*Board donations cover almost all fundraising expenses such that only 2% of non-board donations go to those areas.
