Kito Crosby, a leading manufacturer of lifting and securement solutions, is pleased to announce the continuation of its partnership with Bridges to Prosperity (B2P) in 2025.
This year, Kito Crosby will provide essential products such as wire rope clips, turnbuckles, snatch blocks, special trolleys, manual hoists, and wire rope tension meters for more than 40 bridge construction projects in Africa, as well as rigging awareness training for safer lifting and rigging operations.
These bridges will provide more than 150,000 people access to critical resources like healthcare, education and employment. Additionally, in the end of September 2025, Kito Crosby will dispatch a team of 10 employees from Europe, Asia-Pacific, and America, collectively known as the Cyumba Team, to carry out essential maintenance work including a full grade to longer-lasting steel decking on the 48-meter suspended Cyumba trail bridge in Nyaruguru District, Rwanda.
The bridge serves a community of 4,419 residents and is located at an elevation of 1,513 meters (4,965 feet), approximately four hours from Kigali.B2P is a US-based non-profit organization that works with governments and rural communities to create access to essential health care, education, and economic opportunities by building trail bridges over impassable rivers. With over 730 trail bridges built and supported across 21 countries, B2P has positively impacted more than 4.6 million individuals worldwide.
