Arlington, TX – Andrew Fulton, veteran of the entertainment rigging industry, will be a special guest at the Kito Crosby Entertainment Group booth (#1817) at LDI in Las Vegas. Attendees are invited to visit the booth December 8 through 10 to meet Andrew and get answers about industry insights and best practices.
Andrew’s career in rigging began in 1997 in Las Vegas, where he soon became a member of the Las Vegas Stagehands Union, IATSE Local 720. Throughout his career, he has played key roles in various productions, from trade shows to arena award shows and outdoor events.
In 2011, Andrew became the lead rigger at the 16,000-seat Thomas & Mack Center at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he served for a decade. There, he launched the ‘No Loose Parts’ safety initiative, an innovative rigging system designed to enhance safety for crews working below rigging setups. This initiative, which is still in use, minimizes risks by securing latch-lock hooks and eliminating loose shackles.
Simultaneously, he took on the role of rigging manager for PRG at the Sands Expo, the Venetian, and Palazzo Hotels, where he managed complex projects and championed the importance of ETCP rigging certification and training for Las Vegas stagehands.
In 2014, Andrew co-founded RIG Rope Access, a company that provides high-quality rope access training and services. Under his leadership, the company became a respected name in the industry. He retired in June 2024 to pursue new passions in line with his motto: ‘Lead, Teach, Inspire.’
